SYNOPSIS:

Animals is the story of a nameless, reclusive woodsman who, during his morning routine stumbles upon a beautiful, unconscious girl who has been bound to a tree and left for dead in the middle of the forest. His decision to help the girl soon sends him spiraling into a disturbing mystery that could be described as a very dark, modern-day Beauty and the Beast.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS:

GIRL,18-25; Attractive and petite. Although she may at first seem to be your average damsel in distress–fearful and delicate–her powerful will to survive gives her a surprising, sometimes vicious inner-strength.

MR. NICE GUY, 30-60; A Wolf in sheep’s clothing whose almost theatrical congeniality and plastic smile only serve to hide his very twisted intentions–think car salesman meets Hannibal Lecter.
