Gigi’s Gen-X Singalong seeking film and video artists for music video

SYNOPSIS:

Gigi’s Gen-X Singalong, a New York City-based video and performance series that recently celebrated its third anniversary, is seeking film and video artists to contribute to our next show. The Singalong pays homage to seminal and/or unjustly forgotten music from the Reagan-Bush I years by creating music videos for entire albums and screening them for audiences who are encouraged to sing along.

Past shows include:
The Smiths, “The Queen is Dead”
Violent Femmes, “Violent Femmes”
The B-52′s, “Wild Planet”
Original Soundtrack, “Pretty in Pink”

Singalong Vol. 5 (tentatively scheduled for December 2011) will be The Jacksons, “Victory.” We need creative, inspired, dependable artists to join our team! You provide the videos, we provide the publicity and the venue. As long as you deliver your part of the project on time, we’ll screen it. Content and form are up to you!
